Jamaican Black Castor Oil is produced from the same plant as standard Castor oil. However, as the seeds are roasted before extraction, the oil has a dark burnt orange/reddish-brown colour with a stronger, more nutty aroma.

The slight ash content of the oil is said to offer additional benefits for hair - especially for those with thicker or more curly hair types.
Stimulates hair growth while cleansing scalp of toxins that damage hair and slows growth.
Helps repair dry damaged hair and breakages. Protects hair with a protective coat that seals in moisture.
