Mala Bracelet Sandalwood Tibetan Buddhist Prayer Beads Bracelet
This beautiful Mala bracelet is composed of 108 sandalwood look beads of different shades of color. It ends with an eternal lucky knot ( Shrivasta in Sanskrit) and 2 small silver Tibetan symbols. The diameter of the beads is available in 6mm or 8mm. Length is approximately 70 cm (to be wound several times around your wrist or to be worn as a necklace). This really is a nice looking Bracelet. The number 108 is considered a sacred number in traditions such as Buddhism & Hinduism. Buddhist prayer beads or malas are a traditional tool used to count the number of times a mantra is recited, breaths while meditating, counting prostrations, or the repetitions of a buddha's name. Still used by many yogis today, malas are used to recite mantras while practicing meditation. Other people wear mala beads today as a symbol and reminder of their own journey, whatever it may be. ?
